Help

Someone told me about this site and how it’s possible to get some help. I know I can’t ask my family as they have all given up on me.  I have been drinking though my situation and it’s definitely getting out of hand and now I’m just looking for someone to talk to.

i don’t how many are here with alcohol issues but i need to talk to anyone that would give me some advice.

Good morning. I read your post and have been though many years of alcoholism and now it’s been a few years since I’ve been sober.  It’s not easy but it’s doable for sure.  What I learned most is the alcohol was controlling my brain and I had to make that stop.  It seemed about 3 or 4 months after stopping drinking I was making better decisions.  Now I have control of my thoughts and my day is filled with positive things to do.   I went to addiction counseling and it was very helpful and I would suggest if you can to do the same.  Most importantly you can stop and you can get better in time.
