Everyday I wake up to the same routine and do the same things.   I have been alone for many years and I just don’t know where to look or how to go about it.  I’m healthy and have a decent home.  I’m retired and have an income but I have no one to share it with.  I’ve tried the dating sites and it seems no one is who they say they are.

Maybe here I can find someone to talk to that is real and help me out of this rut I’m in.

I’m sorry to hear you’re feeling lonely.  When you live alone and are retired, it can be challenging to fill time in your day.  I’m adjusting to that right now and have started to look into organizations that I can volunteer with.  There are so many great causes that need assistance, and it can be a wonderful way to make new connections and friendships, while doing some good work.

Check out http://www.volunteerthunderbay.ca. You You might just find a great place to volunteer with, and make some new friendships.
